Transcell provides tissue in fresh or frozen forms for a variety of cancers, including those of the breast, lung, colon, prostate, ovarian, pancreatic, and oral cancers; it can supply these either from inventory or prospectively upon request. Supply of specimens for certain diseases is subject to availability, and as such, should be requested in advance. Transcell also provides associated testing services for these tissue platforms. Tumor tissue is collected/ procured from Transcell’s network of partner institutes in conformance/compliance with industry standards, state policy/ guidelines, and subsequently processed and cryopreserved after labelling. The tissues conform to rigorous quality assurance/ control standards. These are suitable for downstream basic and applied/ translational preclinical research (such as in biomarker discovery), for diagnosis, for assay or medical device development and testing in industry, for screening chemical libraries, hits, leads and INDs or for educational purposes. Transcell will be happy to consult with potential clients to understand their needs and to customize it’s offerings to their specifications (supply/ availability may vary with the requirement). Patient’s de-identified data, pathology reports, clinical history, for the tissues are provided upon request it provides. Transcell provides all relevant information regarding the provenance of the tissues it supplies to customers, so as to best enable them with use cases.
